No recibe datos personales.

InstructorLog is a tool for shooting academies and instructors: it is used to organize courses, record each student's results and keep their training history. This page explains what data it stores, what it uses it for and who it shares it with.

The app is operated by Dario Javier Karmel (Asunción, Paraguay). For any question about your data, write to privacidad@instructorlog.com.

Who enters the data

There are two kinds of data in InstructorLog, and the difference matters:

What else is stored

InstructorLog uses no advertising, no analytics tools and no trackers, and does not sell or rent data to anyone.

What it is used for

Who can see it

Each organization sees only its own data, and inside it each user sees according to their level: an instructor sees the students in their courses, and of them only the name, the photo, the day's results and notes from previous courses; an administrator sees their academy, city, country or the whole organization, depending on their level. This is enforced by the database, not just by the screen.

A student receives their own results by email. The only thing they see about others is a competition's podium, which is public within the course.

Who it is shared with

Only with the providers that make the app work, and only for that:

  • Supabase: the database, accounts and photo storage.
  • Netlify: the website and server functions.
  • Resend: sending emails.
  • RevenueCat, Apple and Google: subscriptions. RevenueCat receives the organization's identifier, not student data.
  • Anthropic: translates the platform's shared content (drills, rules, lists) into five languages. It receives no personal data.

These providers may store data on servers outside your country. We share data with no one else, unless a law or a competent authority requires it.

How long it is kept

Your rights

Security

Connections are encrypted. Photos are served through expiring links and only to those allowed to see them, and every database query goes through rules that decide, row by row, who can read or change it.

Minors

InstructorLog is meant for academies and instructors, not for minors. If an academy trains minors, it is responsible for obtaining their parents' or guardians' consent to enter their data.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version is published here with its date. If the change is significant, we also announce it in the app.
